Early view of Malta on a Snowy Day

The Village of Malta dates back to the earliest days of the State of Ohio. During the War of 1812, an ex-sailor, Simeon Pool, and his son-in-law, John Bell, settled in this particular area. There are NO CHARGES or NO FEES for uploading or accessing any part of this site. We are families with a long history in the community dating back to the early 1800′s. Preserving the history of Morgan County though personal stories and pictures is our goal.
